WhatsApp has introduced a new update that a dedicated call button in group chats.
Earlier, WhatsApp call in a group was not a simple process. In this new feature, one can make a group call by adding contacts of the members in the group. WhatsApp also fixed the bug which caused the GIF functionality to malfunction. This new update is now available for download or update from Google play store.
How to make a WhatsApp group call
In a group call, first you have to start a video call with a participant. As the call connecting, you required to tap a button to add other participants. The button is located in the top-right corner of the screen. As soon as the call connected, an Add Person’ icon would appear from where you can add more participants in the group call.
The new group call button update added in the latest version of WhatsApp makes it a lot easier to start a group video or voice calls.
As you can see in the screenshots, now there is a dedicated call button at the top right corner in group chats. By tapping on this button opens a box which contains the contact list of all group members. Here, you can add the contacts you want to connect in your group voice or video call.
